Victor lives in Vienna with Annette and their daughter Pamela. It's springtime, and Victor is shirking work, spending his days and some of his nights wandering. Annette loves him and hopes that things will get better when they will return to Paris. But Victor continues with his bad habits in France. After a bad argument, he moves in with a junkie he's fallen in love with. Annette leaves him and disappears with Pamela. Eleven years later, Pamela, 17, lives in Paris with her mother. One day, she finds out that her father lives there, too. She decides to see him.
