On the 5th of August 1936, Jesse OWENS, a black athlete, won the 200m race at the Olympics in Berlin in front of a Nazi crowd, including their supreme leader, Adolf HITLER. During these Olympics, he won four gold medals (100m, 200m, 4x100m relay and long jump), becoming a myth and role model for the whole world.
