Rob Gordon runs a record store in Chicago, which is well-known of vinyl-lovers and rare esoteric record buffs. His whole life rhymes with pop music. It's what gives him the strength to deal with his daily life, it's what has been accompanying him forever through his sentimental hardships and gives a meaning to his existence. After several break-ups, Rob is dumped once again. He strives to understand the reason of this new failure. He decides to chase his exes up to solve the enigma.
