Antoine Doinel has finally married Christine Darbon. The young man is hired by a hydraulic firm after leaving his job as flower dyer. Shortly after, Antoine meets Kyoko, a Japanese woman with whom he cheats on Christine whereas she has given birth to their son, Alphonse.
