Emilijan and his younger brother Stanko are bound by a secret that forced them to leave their country. Today, Emilijan is perfectly integrated into life in France. He works in Brest's port town and has a relationship with Gabrielle. On the contrary, Stanko lives in the past and hopes to return to his hometown.

Sylvain Labrosse used to program theaters in Paris before directing his first short films, awarded and selected in Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand amongst other festivals. He now lives in Rennes and works in contemporary dance, collaborating closely with performer and choreographer Claudia Triozzi. Frères d'arme is his first feature-length film.
