Pierre Trividic is a former student of Idhec (36th promotion) and honoree of Villa Médicis hors-les-murs (1989). Their collaboration began in 1996 with Le Cas Lovecraft (Golden Fipa) for France 3 channel. They wrote and directed two feature-length films, Ballroom in 2001 and The Other One in 2008 (The Volpi Cup of the Best Actress Award for Dominique Blanc at the 65th Venice Film Festival).
Beside their common works, Pierre Trividic is a script writer for several feature films such as Pascale Ferran's Coming to Terms with the Dead, Anne Fontaine's Marvin and Patrice Chérau's Those Who Love Me Can Take the Train. Patrick Mario Bernard directed a feature film, Good, dedicated to musician Rodolphe Burger while continuing his work as a visual artist.
