It’s 1983 and 12-year-old Rain wants sex, the only problem is she has no idea what that means. With her self-absorbed parents distracted by their recent divorce, Rain is left alone to navigate the complexities of love and adulthood, and learns to do it her own way.
Amber Sealey is an award-winning director, writer, and actor. Her short film How Does it Start premiered at Sundance, and her three features (No Light and No Land Anywhere, How to Cheat, and A plus D) have won awards and played at festivals around the world. Amber has been selected for prestigious programs at AFI, Film Independent, Sundance, and Women in Film, amongst others. She lives in Los Angeles with her family.
