Two police detectives find themselves suspended when a video of their strong-arm tactics is leaked to the media. With little money and no options, the embittered policemen descend into the criminal underworld and find more than they wanted waiting in the shadows.

S. Craig Zahler is a workaholic self-made man. For 15 years, alongside his work as a cook in a restaurant, he wrote 50 scripts, 9 novels (most of them distributed in France), while playing drums in a metal band. Through determination, he sold many scripts to producers. In 2015, he decided to direct his first feature, a horrific western, Bone Tomahawk (Grand Prize at Festival international du film fantastique de Gérardmer). A year later, he directed a sophisticated exploitation film with Vince Vaughn, Brawl in Cell Block 99.
Dragged Across Concrete is his third feature and his highest budget film.
