SYNOPSIS
Maximilienne discovers a new side of herself while playing with her appearance alone in her bedroom. One night, she runs away and finds herself in a nightclub at a drag king show. A new world opens itself before her. She has found a new family.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
She’s a filmmaking student at La Fémis, a cinema school in Paris, since 2017. She has also studied 2D animation and stop motion at Atelier de Sèvres, and computing at Mines de Saint-Etienne, a french engineering school.
She has directed several short-films, the last one, King Max which was selected at “La Cinéfondation”, in 2021 Cannes film festival. Currently, she’s writing King Max as a feature film.
