ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Riley Lynch is a filmmaker and a musician from Los Angeles, California. He received his BA from the School of the Art Institute Chicago, where he first fell in love with the magical art of editing. He studied music for over 20 years, made his first film in 2012, and has since directed several short films of his own. He enjoys playing the guitar, reading Joseph Campbell, and fishing.

Halbert is trying to tend to an ailing ficus plant. The sound of an electric guitar drifts over the fence and makes his plant shake. Halbert worries and tries to interrupt his neighbor when suddenly a new leaf sprouts from the ficus. Halbert begins to explore the magic of heavy metal.
