Rabah Nait Oufella was first discovered when he was in high school by the filmmaker Laurent Cantet who casted him to play his own role in the movie “Entre Les Murs”, Palme d’Or of the 61st Cannes Festival. Several noted movies followed such as Sarah Leonor’s “Au voleur” , Céline Sciamma’s “Bande de fille”, Bertrand Bonello’s“Papa was not a rolling stone” and “Nocturama”. In May 2016, Rabah Nait Oufella climbed once again the steps of Cannes for the movie “Grave” by Julia Ducournau, selected at the Semaine de la Critique and awarded the Fripecsi Prize (International Critics’ Choice). He was then noticed in Léa Frédeval’s comedy “Les affamés” as well as “Meltem”, directed by Basile Doganis. In June 2021, Rabah starred in “Ibrahim” by Samir Guesmi, selected at Cannes in 2020. That same year, Laurent Cantet chose him as the lead of his feature film “Arthur Rambo”, released early 2022. He is part of the main cast of the Canal+ Series “BRI”, directed by Jérémie Guez.
